HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I DRING

Contrary to popular belief thirst is not a good indicator of dehydration ,By the time you are thirsty, it means that your body has already lost 3% of its water. If your urine is a strong yellow color, you are drinking very little water. Ideally your urine should be as light as possible almost colorless.Regular intake of water throughout the day is important because when a large amount of water is ingested it is practically completely eliminated by the kidneys in a few hours ,that is why to meet your daily ration of water intake a lot of water all at once is not the solution, drinking one glass of water every waking hour or so through out the day is best.For the women,about 2.2liters of water is recommended(i.e about 9 cups of water) while the male should have about 3 liters of water which is about 13 cups of water a day. When you are tired just drinking a lot of plain cold water will help revitalize you  during sluggish periods of the day. You will need to drink even more than that  if you sweat much or if the weather is hot.This will increase your endurance .ALWAYS CARRY YOUR WATER SUPPLY WITH YOU.Upon rising to jump start your day on the right tract make it a habit to drink 2 to four glasses of warm lemon water. For each glass squeeze the juice of half a lemon.Lemon water is alkalizing and detoxifying.

INDICATORS OF DEHYDRATION

Chronic pain is often an indicator of chronic dehydration .When any of your joints begin to signal aching pains that come and go this may be a sign that your body is severely short of water. Often though ,the signs of water deficiency in joint cartilages are not recognized for what they indicate and painkillers are prescribed. This frequently results in a dependence  on addictive medication, and permanent damage to cartilage separation of the joint bones
According to Dr. Fereydoon Badmangehelidj dehydration can cause disease "Dry mouth is not the only sign of dehydration and waiting to get thirsty is wrong. Pain in the body is a crisis call of the body for water. Thirst should be prevented". Chronic pain in the body which cannot easily be explained as injuries or infections should first and foremost be interpreted as a signal of chronic water shortage in the area where the pain is registered. This pain signal should first be considered and excluded as primary indicators for dehydration of the body before any other complicated procedures are forced on the patient .follow this instructions religiously and see how your body will respond beautifully with health. HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I DRINK

Water is an elixir of life. Water drinking is my favorite hobby.In fact I have a friend that calls me a camel because I go every where with my bottle of water.
Toxic waste builds up in the body when we do not have enough water .the body of a newborn infant contains more than 80%water .The amount of water in the tissues lessens with advancing age. More than 60% of our body is made up of water.
 Humans have lived 81 days without food but they will die in 5 days without water. If you lose just 5% of the total amount of water in your body, you will start to hallucinate become disoriented and experience twitching muscles.
 If you lose 15% of your total water ,you life is endangered.
 Lose greater than 15% of body fluids may result in death. Yet the body has no water storage system to depend on in times of emergency
 The parts of the body that suffer most from dehydration are those without vascular circulation such as the joint cartilages in fingers knees and vertebrae. Most times chronic pain is often an indication of chronic dehydration. HOW MUCH EXERCISE SHOULD ONE GET

Exercise at least 30 minutes a daily. Brisk walking is good .If you think you are unable to exercise, just begin walking as far as is comfortable. Do this daily and watch how your capacity to walk will increase. Out door labor in any useful activity is an excellent source of exercise
exercise is very important even I you are sick even though at this time it is important to rest make sure you do a little walking and breathing exercise daily. If you are unable to exercise use a trampoline. If you are bed-ridden , massage can help as it is a passive exercise and there are many massaging equipment and products that one can buy. A whole range of motion exercises are beneficial.below are links to some good exercise material.
In health, exercise will more adequately help the body to cope with dietary abuses and other debilitating factors of a bad lifestyle. EXERCISE AND OXYGEN INTAKE\

During exercise, your body consumes large amounts of oxygen. In fact, this is part of what helps you to lose weight. The more oxygen your body consumes, the harder that you're working out. It's one reason that you typically lose a lot of weight when you first start working out. Because your body is not accustomed to working out as much, you use a lot of oxygen during the course of your initial workouts. This oxygen is required to feed your muscles and keep them working. As you get into shape and get used to working out, though, your body doesn't require quite as much oxygen as before
When you're first working out, you should warm up by stretching and even jogging for a few minutes to get your blood flowing and the oxygen pumping through your body. This is essential to exercising because it prepares your body for a workout. However, if you're in a rush or you just can't wait to get started, you may be tempted to skip the warm up. This prevents your body from getting prepared and can leave you gasping for air because your body isn't ready to send oxygen to your muscles so quickly. If you're not getting enough oxygen to your muscles, you won't be at your best and you may experience muscle failure. It's the reason you should make sure you're breathing properly when you lift weights or run for distance. You need to keep your muscles fueled with oxygen to prevent muscle failure.As you can see from the graph, the more you exercise the greater the volume of oxygen you take in which in the long run is fantastic for your cells
There are certain equipment you can use to measure your oxygen uptake to see how efficient your body is and it also gives you an assessment of your fitness level. SHALLOW BREATHING PROBLEMS

If insufficient supply of oxygen is received through shallow breathing ,the blood moves sluggishly. The waste poisonous matter which should be thrown off in exhalation from the lungs is retained and the blood becomes impure. Not only the lungs but the stomach liver and brain are affected. The skin becomes sallow and digestion is retarded
Oxygen deficiency in the cells is known to cause cancer. Experiments has proved that cancer cells cannot live in blood that is well oxygenated
Fresh air should be regarded as a great blessing. Many labor under the mistaken idea that when they have a cold, they must carefully exclude the outside air and increase the temperature of their room until it is excessively hot. The systems become deranged and the pores closed by waste matter. and the internal organs suffer more or less inflammation because the blood has been chilled back from the surface and thrown upon them .
therefore once you Are You Breathing Right?have a cold, the lungs should not be deprived of pure fresh air.

Behavioral Changes

  • Lack of oxygen can change a person's behavior during the day. He may not respond to stimulus or has bouts of fainting. PROPER AIR CIRCULATION IN THE COLD SEASON

When cold, try not to wear too much. If you add clothing, let it be but little and exercise if possible to regain the heat you need. If you positively cannot engage in active exercise, warm your self by the heater lower the room temperature as soon as you regain your natural warmth.Exersive heating deprives one of the  vitality, benumbs the sensitive brain and causes the lungs to shrink and the liver to become inactive.
for healthy circulation special attention should be given to the extremities that they be as thoroughly clothed as the chest and the region over the heart which needs much warmth.
When the limps are not as well dressed as the trunk of the body, the blood is driven to the head causing headache or nose bleed or you feel a sense of fullness about the chest producing cough or palpitation of the heart on account of too much blood in that locality .or too much blood in the stomach causing indigestion.

One of the best ways to  TO  MAINTAIN OXYGEN LEVELS IN BLOOD is to learn some practical ways of doing it. Many of us do not get ENOUGH OXYGEN TO OUR LUNGS and blood .and in order for us to get enough oxygen to our lungs and blood, all you need to do is to learn deep breathing and to remember to do it daily.
 First  is to lie flat on ones back and place your hand on your stomach .As you breathe in deeply your hand should rise. this exercise should be practiced until your abdominal muscles automatically rise each time you breath. This indicates that the entire lung is expanding with emphasis on the lower part of the lungs and abdominal area
Be outdoors as much as possible .Always exercise outdoors .In the home it is important to secure thorough ventilation and plenty of sunlight. Keep proper ventilation in mind wherever you are(home ,work, school)Air must be in constant circulation to be kept free from poisons.
breath fresh air while sleeping ,open the windows even on cold winter nights double the blankets but always keep a window open. Air the bedrooms daily with the windows open. When you sleep in an ill ventilated room you will awake feeling feverish and exhausted. This is because the vital air was excluded and your entire body suffers in consequence
Do not smoke tobacco and avoid second hand smoke too Remember your skin also breathes
It is best to wear natural material on every thing that touches the body so that it can breathe without impediments .Avoid smog  and all chemicals ,cleaning solutions, solvents paint removers and insect sprays
The best air is at beaches ,oceans, waterfalls  forest .all these natural environments electrically charge oxygen molecules to negative ions which are health giving. However air from air conditioners  is not the best because it is positively ionized

HOW TO INCREASE OXYGEN IN BLOOD

Did you know that the way you stand or sit can affect your breathing. and the level of oxygen in your blood The lungs can expand properly only when a person sits and stands straight. Because otherwise the sacs in the lungs that take in air are compressed if lungs do not get enough air, the blood does not get enough oxygen in turn every thing does not function as efficiently as it should. Practice how to sit and stand straight-Head high back straight. Most people have very shallow breathing which means the lower portion of the lungs are filled with stale air. It is very important to do deep breathing exercises daily(three times a day is best)Be sure to do this in the morning before breakfast. Below are practical steps

Step 1

Close your mouth. Start breathing through your nose.Take a deep breathe to full expansion, hold then exhale slowly and completely and hold that. Repeat this say 20 times this increases oxygen in the blood and helps the circulation and gets toxins out of the system All of the mechanisms that ensure a proper balance between the intake of oxygen and expulsion of carbon dioxide are in your nose. Mouth breathing creates a different type of breathing pattern that upsets this balance by decreasing oxygen intake and releasing carbon dioxide too quickly, while nose breathing promotes a deeper, slower breathing pattern that increases oxygen intake.
STEP 2
Practice proper breathing. Do this until it becomes a habit. When you are breathing properly, you are breathing through your nose and your chest and abdomen are moving in unison. GET TO THE ROOT

The greatest cause of human suffering is ignorance. On the subject of how to treat our bodies.in case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, and wrong habits corrected. Then nature , is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities  and to reestablish right  conditions in the system. When  sickness ,we can follow the following steps.
1.Find out what is causing the disease, because disease never comes without a cause .Reason with yourself," what could I have done to become sick"? In the beginning, reasoning from cause -to-effect may be challenging and uncertain but with practice and conscious awareness, it will become easy

2.Stop doing what you discovered made you sick

3Assist the body's efforts to expel impurities by exercising faith in God through the use of simple remedies that he has provided in nature

4.Do not try to get rid of these symptoms by adding the burden of poisonous medicines to your body, this only suppresses the condition

5. Natural provisions are within the reach of all with little expence.but drugs are expensive both in the outlay of means and the effect produced in the system

spiritual knowledge,the begining of health

When we know the cause of a problem ,then the solution has started.
to heal and leave in health, we first need to know.
medicine upholds that we are victims attached by bad organisms. But the father of germ theory ,Pasteur began to understand the true relationship of germ to disease late in his life when he stated '' The germ is nothing, the soil (the condition of the body )is everything "meaning that a germ can only thrive in a suitable environment.
God has written physical laws with his own hands upon every nerve ,every muscle and every organ which has been entrusted to man .Every "thou shalt not" whether in physical or moral law contains or implies a promise. Transgression of physical laws is the transgression of Gods law. Disease results from the transgression of physical laws. The creator and manufacturer of our bodies has arranged everything in our bodies and has pledged himself to keep the machinery in order if we cooperate with him and refuse to work contrary to the laws which govern the human system
When we realize that disease is the transgression of Gods physical laws most times out of ignorance, by removing this cause, we have found the cure.
so what should we do first when we fall sick. I will discourse that in my next posting.

the various health components

Spiritual health is an important component of an individuals well-being and an integral aspect of the holistic health philosophy.that is why I will like to start with this basic component.

Physical, mental and spiritual health are deeply intertwined and have a profound effect on one another.

This truth is clearly exhibited for instance when someone who is sad on the emotional level experiences fatigue, a loss of energy and/or decreased appetite on the physical level and on the spiritual level they feel out of touch with their true self and disconnected from the Universe and the lord who created it.

Another clear example would be that when spiritually we feel lost and unbalanced, this may cause us to be moody and discontent with life, perhaps we grow emotionally distant from our loved ones and on the physical level we may experience stress or fatigue.

On the other hand, when we feel spiritually connected and fulfilled, everything in our life including physical and emotional pain, are easier to deal with. We feel lighter and happier.

There's no denying it - when we feel connected and balanced spiritually we feel better physically and emotionally. Nourishing our spiritual self is as important as food, water and exercise.

Some people claim to experience complete healing from certain health conditions through a variety of spiritual methods, but this doesn't happen all that often.It's important to note that we aren't talking about religion here. Some people may find spiritual fulfillment in religion, but it is only one of many ways. Religion and spirituality are not one in the same. Spiritual connection is about finding meaning and purpose in your life, discovering who you truly are and connecting with the God that provide you inner strength, comfort, hope and inner peace.

Be still and listen. Tune into your inner voice and identify what it is that makes you feel whole, alive and connected to the God of the Universe; this is your spiritual food. When do you feel most fulfilled and complete? What gives you inner peace, comfort, strength and harmony? Your spiritual health, as well as your emotional and physical health, may be improved by cultivating more  of those things ,together with humor and gratitude in your life. Remembering to appreciate the simple things in life and not taking yourself too seriously.
 Once you identify your spiritual needs, nourish them on a regular basis. Don't ignore them or put them off. If you neglect your spiritual health, then you become hungry and search for food in the wrong places, which is destructive and zaps you of your life sustaining energy.Experiencing life completely and consciously, even in the midst of great pain and suffering, is the essence of spiritual health.
