Don’t we all hate dark circles? Dark circles will make you look older and no woman loves that. Make up might help you conceal it. However,we are sure there are several people out there who don’t apply makeup. And for them dark circles can be pretty frustrating.  Every morning when you wake up and you just want to wash your face and head to work, your dark circles constantly annoy. But there is actually nothing that you have to worry about. There are several home remedies that will help you get rid of dark circles. Here are the 5 things that you can pick from your kitchen to get rid of dark circles.
CUCUMBER
Skin lightening, moisturizing and blemish-clearing, cucumber has everything that is good for the skin and eyes. We are sure you have seen in several movies where women at the salon are shown relaxing with cucumber slices on their eyes. It actually does make you feel refreshed and is quite soothing.  You need to cut cucumber slices and place it on your eyes and keep it for 30 minutes(yes, you can take a short nap). Wash it off later and repeat this twice daily.
ALMOND OIL
Almond oil is one of the most natural ways of getting rid of dark circles.  It will help you lighten the darkness around your eyes and this is because it has Vitamin E.  And the best part is you will find this product in every household. Take a teaspoon of almond oil all around your eyes and massage it gently. Let it be for an entire night  and wash it off with cold water the next morning. Do this every single day till you see your dark circles disappear.
ROSE WATER
Rose water is the best for your skin. Many people use it as a toner but not many know that rose water also helps in reducing dark circles.  It gives a cooling effect because it has very mild astringent properties. What you have to do s soak cotton pads in rose water, keep it on your eyes for 15 minutes.  Make sure the cotton has enough rose water. Do this twice in a day and in 10 to 15 days you will see the difference.
RAW POTATOES
Potatoes are one of the most common vegetables found in every household. It can make for some really delicious recipes and at the same time it also works wonders for the skin. Potatoes have natural bleaching agents that will help your dark circles lighten. Let us tell you how to use potatoes for your eyes. Grate potatoes and extract the juice. Dip cotton pads into this juice and place it on your eyes. Let it sit for 15 minutes  and then wash your eyelids with cold water.  Do this twice in a day daily and in about 3 weeks you will see the difference.
TOMATOES
Tomato is know to have bleaching properties. People often use tomatoes on their face to get rid of blemishes and to lighten their skin tone. You could also use them for your dark circles.  Take one spoon of tomato juice and one spoon of lime juice. Mix these two and with your fingers apply this mixture around your eyes. Since it is citrus, keep your eyes closed because if it comes in contact with your eyes, it will burn. Gently massage and then let it sit for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water and do this daily to see best results.
You will find all these items in your kitchen and thus you do not have to go looking for remedies elsewhere.
